Nachoman’s Baseball has MOVED!!!

You are looking at the 2007 site.

During the 2007 baseball season, the Nachoman provides his analysis and commentary of major league baseball games.  Questions, stories, or comments can be directed to the Nachoman at greg_jacobs@woodberry.org.

The April 27 Ribbie Reporter column discusses major league bullpens, then focuses on division III college baseball.  Good Stuff.

The Nachoman doesn’t have any time on his hands.  Yet, the Ribbie Reporter has made time for you, with some comments on the Royals and other teams...

Time to read the Nachoman’s April 8 column, which discusses:

  • The Domination of the Pirates
  • An Amphibious Pitcher
  • How I got Simmonsed by Burrito Girl

Also, the Ribbie Reporter’s defense of the Gil Meche signing and other news from Royals Land

The Nachoman’s Opening Day Column discusses no games – they haven’t started yet – but does mention:

  • All-Star Snubs (already!)
  • Bloggers living in their parents’ basements
  • The NCAA all-Simpsons team

Who is the Ribbie Reporter?

Jacob Geiger is a sophomore at Washington and Lee University, a liberal arts college located in Lexington, Virginia.  He met Nachoman Greg Jacobs while attending Woodberry Forest School where he graduated with honors in 2005.

Jacob is double majoring in print journalism and European History.  He serves as News Editor of The Ring Tum Phi, Washington and Lee’s independent student newspaper, and also works for the campus radio station, WLUR, as a sports broadcaster.  He does soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and of course, baseball in the spring.  A baseball player in high school, Jacob will happily watch the Major Leagues, Little Leagues, and just about every level in between.

During the rare moments he’s not studying, writing, or working on the radio, Jacob enjoys getting outdoors to camp, hike, and rock climb.
